Hey there!

Welcome to Crosson’s Classroom.

I am so glad you’re here.

I am so glad you’re here.

I’m the educator and writer behind these articles. I am an elementary teacher with a Master’s of Teaching and a digital creator. I also have a travel and creative cuisine blog called Dahlias and Day Trips, where I write about outdoor adventure, foraging, and share my favorite recipes.

When I’m not in the classroom or out adventuring, though, I enjoy writing helpful articles that are meant to inform and inspire other new teachers and university students.

& Crosson’s Classroom is my space to share those things with you.

Whether you’re wanting to refine your teaching practice, are looking for some student/teacher lifestyle tips, or need a little inspo to make it through the rollercoaster ride that is the university experience – You’ll likely find something here!

My teaching philosophy

If you’re wondering about my Teaching Philosophy – Stay tuned! I’m still getting that document ready for publishing. It will be posted on this site once it’s ready for sharing.

What I can say right now, is that I’m passionate about children’s rights, outdoor education, and social-emotional learning. I strive to inspire all students to achieve their dreams inside and outside of the classroom.
